Often described as a ‘minimalist’, British designer John Pawson is known for a rigorous process of reduction, creating designs of simplicity, grace and visual clarity. Plain Space celebrates his career to date with models, film, photographs and architectural elements from some of his most important projects and at the heart of the exhibition is a 1.1 full-sized installation designed by Pawson to offer a direct experience of his work.
Drawing Fashion celebrates a unique collection of some of the most remarkable fashion illustrations from the 20th and 21st centuries. These original works define the art of illustrating fashion, reflecting not only the spirit and the style of the decades but also the cultural changes of the century.
